Alexandria families are being squeezed—and Richmond isn't helping. Housing costs keep climbing. Childcare is out of reach for too many families. Seniors on fixed incomes are wondering if they can afford to stay in the community they've called home for decades. Mason will fight for tax relief and policies that actually ease the burden on working families at every income level.
When we don't pay the people who keep us safe and educate our kids, they leave. It's that simple. Alexandria's teachers, firefighters, and police officers deserve salaries that let them live in the community they serve. When we pay them competitively, they stay. When they stay, our schools are stronger and our neighborhoods are safer.
Every child in Alexandria deserves a world-class education. Mason comes from a family rooted in education—his mother-in-law and aunt were both teachers in Alexandria Public Schools. He understands that strong schools are the foundation of a thriving community.
You deserve to know how your tax dollars are being spent—and whether they're delivering results. Mason believes in asking hard questions and demanding real answers. No more blank checks. No more programs that don't work. No more ignoring residents until election season.
