Madison John Redd Whittle was elected to Danville City Council in May 2016. A native of Danville, he attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, graduated from George Washington High School, and became a local entrepreneur and small business owner. In 1988, he founded MJRW, Inc. and has gone on to strengthen his expertise in real estate, specifically in property management as owner-developer of numerous residential and commercial properties throughout the city of Danville and other areas.
As a successful small business owner, Madison knows how to balance a budget and grow a company. With his expertise, he is ready to take on big government and slash regulations that have been burdening every small Southside business. In Richmond, Madison will work to bring economic development to Southside and make our District and even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Madison will always protect our right to bear arms and push back against any bills attempting to restrict it. The people in our district take pride in our freedom to protect against government tyranny and he will fight to protect it in Richmond. Madison also knows that Southside has deep hunting roots and will always advocate for hunters’ rights.
Madison is a pro-Life Christian conservative.
