Amanda resides in Toano with her husband, Rick. Her son, Troy, is a Virginia Tech graduate. She is currently a James City County Ruritan member, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary Post 4639, and a board member of the Colonial Virginia Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
